Senior Maintenance Planner – Housing Association (Hammersmith)

Senior Maintenance Planner role for a local housing association in Hammersmith.

Role details: permanent position with a salary up to £33k per annum. Working hours are 8-5, Monday to Friday.

Location: London area with contracts in and around London; the client is affiliated with many local councils and main contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming repair requests through various communication channels (phone, email, online portals).
  • Log repair requests accurately into the system and prioritize based on urgency and severity.
  • Coordinate repair schedules with tenants and external contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants regarding repair updates, appointment scheduling, and access arrangements.
  • Monitor the progress of repairs and ensure timely completion within agreed service levels.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to repairs, including filing paperwork, maintaining records, and processing invoices.
  • Conduct follow-up communication to ensure tenant satisfaction and address any outstanding issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar Senior Planner or Team Lead role, ideally within the social housing sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and databases for data entry, record-keeping, and communication.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to property maintenance and repairs is desirable but not essential.
