Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years in a similar engineering role with proven fault-finding and repair experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) would be an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport essential.

  • Lead complex service interventions and installation projects.

White Label is hiring a Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer for an engineering business based in Stockport.

They design and build high-precision machinery used for inspection and simulation applications. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to add a Senior Installation and Maintenance Engineer to the team.

  • £50,000 - £55,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus + pension
  • Stockport (office-based with UK and international travel - typically no more than 8 trips per year, up to 2 weeks each)
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Lead complex service interventions and installation projects
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in best practice and advanced fault-finding
  • Oversee system performance, carry out audits, and ensure equipment reliability
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and system records
  • Work closely with design and product teams to resolve technical issues and drive improvements
  • Engage directly with customers, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service delivery
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, legislation, and internal procedures
