Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Senior AI Engineer — HealthTech | UK (remote)

We’re a rapidly scaling Series A HealthTech startup, fresh off a $20m raise and already at 7-figure ARR. Our AI-first platform is transforming how care is delivered, combining advanced machine learning with intuitive product design to make healthcare more personalised, efficient, and scalable.

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help define and deliver our AI strategy from the ground up. You’ll work across the stack — from model training and evaluation to deployment and monitoring — embedding intelligence into both our products and our own operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and deploy AI-powered solutions in classification, personalization, generation, and search.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful, scalable AI features.
• Design and evolve ML infrastructure: model tracking, CI/CD for ML, serving patterns, experimentation.
• Prototype and ship AI automations to boost team productivity.
• Keep us ahead of the curve with the latest model capabilities.
• 6+ years software development experience, with 4+ years building & deploying ML/AI systems.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern backend stacks.
• Solid ML fundamentals and production deployment experience.
• Cloud (GCP preferred), containers, and MLOps tooling expertise.
• Bonus: experience with RAG, foundation models, or regulated industries.
• Shape the AI roadmap at a pivotal stage of growth.
• Collaborative, ambitious, and product-focused team.
• Flexible working with regular in-person sessions in Manchester.
