Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python, ML, AI and statistics foundations.
• Experience deploying ML systems in production.
• Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) and containerisation.
• MLOps familiarity — deployment, monitoring, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying production-grade ML and AI systems.
• Supporting computer vision and foundation model workflows for specialised imaging applications.
• Optimising model performance, scalability, monitoring, and reproducibility in the cloud.

We're looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a leading AI company in Belfast, to help design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions. You'll work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and scientific/technical stakeholders — productionising advanced analytics across large, complex, multimodal datasets.

Reporting to a senior technical leader, you'll play a key role in advancing the AI platform, with opportunities across ML systems, cloud infrastructure, MLOps, and applied AI.
