The successful Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will join a highly regarded contractor on a large project in London with an M&E Value of £40M+ that will be a significant achievement on any M&E Quantity Surveyor CV looking to add a flagship project to their portfolio and to progress into Commercial Management and lead a major project in London.

We are seeking a highly accomplished and ambitious professional to join a dynamic team, focusing on innovation and driving significant commercial scale. The successful M&E Quantity Surveyor will be a self‑starter with a strong drive for immediate progression and continuous high‑level skill acquisition. This role requires an individual who excels in demanding situations and demonstrates exceptional adaptability and comfort with scope expansion.

Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
  • Preparing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor enquiries.
  • Preparation and issuing of contract documents to the supply chain.
  • Financial and contractual control of sub‑contractor accounts.
  • Provide data and analysis of issues and risks.
  • Authorise the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Dealing with the sub‑contractors (variations, final accounts, etc)
  • Submitting valuations and agreeing with the main contractor/client.
  • Submitting and agreeing variations with the main contractor/client.
  • Agreeing on the final accounts with the main contractor.
  • Reporting the project performance internally. CVR's etc.
Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 3 - 5+ years of commercial experience.
  • Proficient in reviewing technical drawings for variations, valuations, and take‑offs.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a positive work attitude and a high level of professionalism. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
