Job summary

A leading multi-utility company in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for LV/HV networks. You will design and deliver tailored electrical solutions, mentor junior engineers, and work on diverse projects. Ideal candidates will have a relevant engineering qualification, experience with LV/HV networks, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Qualifications

  • Experience designing LV/HV (11kV/33kV) electrical networks.
  • Knowledge of substation and earthing design, equipment specifications.
  • Understanding of DNO/IDNO construction requirements and NERS compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored LV/HV electrical network solutions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and utility providers.
  • Mentor and support trainee/junior design engineers.

Skills

Design LV/HV electrical network solutions
Knowledge of substation design
Experience mentoring junior engineers
Understanding of G81 standards
Proficiency in WinDEBUT/VisNet
Fluent in AutoCAD

Education

Engineering qualification (Degree/HND or equivalent)
Incorporated Engineer status recognised by IET, or working towards
