Job summary

Codasip, headquartered in Europe with a design center in Cambridge, is seeking a Senior/Principal Compiler Engineer to join the Embedded Software team. You will develop and optimize our LLVM-based toolchain for Codasip’s embedded CPU cores and CHERI-enabled technologies.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate on microarchitectural implications, and explore new compute architectures while supporting both customer projects and Codasip’s long-term software roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLVM compiler and related tooling.
• Experience with the C/C++ clang frontend.
• Understanding of high-level hardware microarchitecture and its software impact.
• Desire to learn and mentor others in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication across technical and management levels.

Responsibilities

• LLVM compiler development for Codasip cores and extensions.
• Provide deep technical software advice to internal and external customers.
• Develop capabilities and processes within the Embedded Software team.
