Job summary

The Bridgewater Hall, operated by Legends Global, is seeking a Senior Lighting Technician to join its technical team in Manchester. You will lead lighting and rigging support for a diverse programme of events and work closely with clients, productions, and colleagues to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

You will manage setup, operation, and maintenance of lighting, rigging, sound, and AV, while supporting training and development of the team.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in a lighting-related discipline or significant professional experience with modern lighting and production systems.
Experience in live entertainment, music, events, or performance venues, including supporting clients and hirers.
Strong working knowledge of lighting, with understanding of audio/AV and rigging systems; comfortable working at height.
Previous supervisory experience with ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible, self-motivated, and collaborative with strong health & safety awareness and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead and support technical staff, ensuring safe, efficient delivery in line with health & safety regulations.
Provide technical support for events: lighting, rigging, sound, AV, staging, seating, and furniture.
