Job summary

Larbey Evans is seeking a Senior Legal Technology Analyst in Wales to own key technology areas and mentor junior staff. The role focuses on supporting and troubleshooting practice tech, testing new legal AI tools, and developing training content.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of legal tech experience within a law firm, plus hands-on work with contract analysis, document automation, and practice management. Strong learning agility is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in legal technology within a law firm.
• Experience supporting legal software (e.g. contract analysis, document automation, practice management).
• Familiarity with generative AI tools in legal workflows.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and practice needs.
• High technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Experience creating user documentation, training, or knowledge base content.

Responsibilities

• Independently support and troubleshoot practice technology, resolving complex issues and escalating when needed.
• Evaluate and test emerging legal tech (including generative AI), providing feedback and analysis.
• Support user training by preparing and delivering content.
• Monitor system usage and adoption, identifying trends and opportunities to improve engagement.
• Stay up to date with legal tech trends through research and professional development.
• Liaise with vendors on support issues, feature requests, and updates.
