The Global Legal Function Healthcare Law & Regulatory team is a strategic partner to our global business. We provide expert legal guidance across all stages of the product lifecycle from R&D and regulatory approvals to marketing, sales, and post‑market surveillance. Our work spans multiple departments including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Compliance, Corporate Communications, Procurement, IT, and Commercial Operations, ensuring our innovations reach patients safely and ethically.

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal Function (GLF), supporting our medical technology business across the entire EMEA region, the Middle East, and Africa. This is a high‑impact role with broad exposure to international markets, regulatory frameworks, and cross‑functional teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead legal support for medical technology business units across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Advise on country‑specific healthcare regulations, product approvals, advertising, recalls, inspections, and quality systems.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams in Compliance, Data Privacy, IT, Antitrust, Procurement, and Medical Affairs.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including licensing, distribution, R&D, and HCP/HCO engagements.
  • Oversee legal review of external communications and marketing materials.
  • Support regulatory processes and SOP development in partnership with Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Deliver legal training and contribute to digital transformation and harmonization strategies.
  • Manage external legal counsel and develop contract management tools and templates.
Your Profile:
  • Qualified lawyer in an EU member state.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a legal advisory role (ideally in‑house).
  • Strong knowledge of EU pharmaceutical and medical device law.
  • Solid understanding of civil, contract, and commercial law.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Excellent communicator, team player, and strategic thinker.
