Job Description

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
• Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Participate in strategic decision-making at the senior management level.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
• Handle dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.
• Liaise with external counsel as necessary.
• Provide training to the business on legal matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

• A degree in Law and a valid practising certificate.
• A solid background in commercial law, preferably within the IT/Software industry.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong legal risk management and compliance skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
