Senior Legal Advisor

Hybrid - 3 days in Office

London

Reporting into Head of Legal

  • Responsibility for entire contract review process (contract and perm, standard or client own, contractor or client) including but not limited to, review, negotiation, obtaining authorisation, back to backing and communications – full life cycle of a contract review
  • Liaising with Clients to amend operational or legal terms. Preparing risk assessments detailing an overview of agreed terms to be authorised by the leadership team.
  • Reading and reviewing Client own contracts for perm (all Group entities and tenders), identify risks and draft amendments taking all Regulations and Legislation into consideration
  • Reading, reviewing and responding to Contractor and Client requests to change standard terms. Drafting amendments for changes. Recording amendments appropriately within the contract
  • Identifying and putting in place processes for meeting client service levels and contractual undertakings. Communicating to sales consultants where contractual undertakings impact the recruitment process
  • Assisting and answering queries which require significant research (e.g. CFA, AWR, IR35)
  • Supporting team inboxes on a daily basis, answering queries and reviewing content
  • Keeping abreast of legislative developments affecting the recruitment industry
  • Auditing to ensure that the function is complying with our business processes
  • Updating terms of business tab on Group CRM
  • Point of Contact for Contract queries for Clients, Contractors and Consultants
