The University of Law is seeking experienced legal professionals to join its teaching faculty in London Moorgate and Leeds campuses. Positions cover Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Law, with probationary pathways and professional development opportunities.

Qualified solicitors or barristers admitted in England and Wales are encouraged to apply, with pathways to Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy offered upon successful progression.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in the legal field and a demonstrated ability to teach in higher education.
• Active admission to practice in England and Wales (Bar or Solicitors Roll).
• Experience delivering legal education and engaging with professional development programs.

Responsabilidades

• Teach on our courses and act as an academic coach to students, signposting students on pastoral aspects during their learning journey.
• Deliver high-quality teaching and support for learning, including collaboration with other academics to improve teaching quality.
• Identify opportunities to develop module content, structure and assessment with colleagues and propose how to achieve it.
• Contribute to inclusive learning design, maintaining quality standards and curricular regulations.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to students and peers using strong communication skills.
