Job summary

London South Bank University (LSBU) invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Game Design and Development. You will help shape our BA (Hons) Game Design and Development course, teach across it, and lead a research programme of your own.

Based in the School of Computer Science and Digital Technologies, you will publish to REF standards, seek external funding, supervise doctoral students, and contribute to module development and cross‑disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field (games, CS, design, digital media).
• Established research outputs meeting REF standards.
• Evidence of securing external research or enterprise funding.
• Experience teaching and supervising HE students and module leadership.
• Commitment to inclusive, accessible and industry-relevant teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach across the BA (Hons) Game Design and Development.
• Publish at REF-standard, apply for external funding.
• Supervise doctoral students and contribute to research programmes.
• Lead module development and collaborate on cross-disciplinary projects.
