Job summary

You will design, implement, and ship features for Chase UK with a focus on React and React Native in TypeScript/JavaScript, while mentoring teammates and driving best practices. You will work within a flat-structure team to deliver end-to-end solutions, contribute to SDLC lifecycles, and stay ahead of modern web/mobile trends,

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React and React Native with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as WebdriverIO or Playwright.
• Hands-on with design systems and component libraries.
• Ability to write clean, testable JavaScript.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Front-End Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Proficiency in React framework
• Building applications usingReact Native / Expo in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of React Native architecture
• Understanding of REST APIsand GraphQL
• Ability to write testable, clean JavaScript code
• Comfortable working with projects partially or fully usingTypeScript
• Using latestReact featuressuch as Suspense and Hooks
• End to end testing applications with WebdriverIO /Playwright
• Extensive experience in modern mobile development
• Hands-on experience with design systems, component libraries, and implementing consistent UI/UX across large-scale applications

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on JavaScript concepts and proficient advanced experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ syntax
• Experience in modern web development, including responsive design and performance optimization
• Native application development across Android / iOS inKotlin/Swift
• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team
• Ability to focus on promptly addressing customer needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
