Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines with hands-on enterprise experience.
• Expertise in Hyper-V and VMware VCF in large-scale production environments.
• Proficient in automation and configuration management using Python, PowerShell, vRO, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect virtualization cluster designs across global pools with software-defined compute and storage.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and configuration using platform scripting languages and APIs.
• Benchmark compute/storage performance to guide capacity decisions and reliability improvements.
• Diagnose full-stack issues across compute, storage, networking, and hypervisor layers with structured troubleshooting.
• Harden environments by partnering with security teams to enforce baselines at scale.
• Document reference architectures and runbooks to improve repeatability and auditability.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical guidance to raise platform quality.
• Lead AI-assisted analysis to accelerate infrastructure insights with proper validation and sensitivity handling.
• Promote reuse-first adoption of AI-driven practices while ensuring changes are auditable and resilient.
