Job summary

Absowebly Ltd is seeking a Senior/Lead Full-Stack Web Software Developer to join our boutique agency near Ashford, Surrey. You will own delivery from concept to deployment, bridging client goals with technical execution.

Key responsibilities include leading timelines and architecture, collaborating with clients to define specs, writing PHP/MySQL backends, and maintaining mobile apps using Cordova. We offer competitive pay and a collaborative, non-corporate culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack experience, or 2+ years in a fast-paced web agency with rapid progression.
• Strong PHP & MySQL experience with custom PHP, relational database design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• 1+ year taking responsibility for project milestones, client communication, or technical task delegation.
• Problem solving: debug legacy code, optimize query performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Version control (Git workflows) and code review processes.
• Apache Cordova or native mobile app maintenance (Android/Java, iOS).
• DevOps / Linux server setup & administration (Ubuntu / Nginx / Apache).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery timelines and architectural decisions for client apps.
• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into technical specifications.
• Write PHP/MySQL code and design robust backends.
• Maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Cordova.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Expand and maintain our core in-house SaaS platform.
