Job summary
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to provide senior clinical expertise and strategic leadership for the Acute and Emergency village at the Aintree site. Qualifications
- Vocational masters degree in pharmacy.
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent clinical experience.
- Full NMP (Non-Medical Prescribing) qualification.
- UKCPA membership and leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction, planning, and long-term development of pharmacy services for Acute and Emergency Directorate.
- Shape design and evaluation of advanced, patient-centred pharmacy services.
- Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff and leaders to optimise medicines pathways.
- Develop robust systems and service structures for high-quality pharmaceutical care.
- Lead training, competency development, and progression of pharmacists and MMTs.
- Oversee pharmacy input into all Acute and Emergency areas and ensure safe transitions.
