Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in Derbyshire is seeking a Senior Lead Auditor to deliver high-quality third-party certification audits across ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. You will play a pivotal role in technical review and certification decision-making within rail and safety-critical sectors.

The role requires a recognised Lead Auditor qualification and proven experience with accreditation bodies, including UKAS. Opportunities exist to lead audits, review reports and contribute to client portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Recognised Lead Auditor qualification and demonstrable third-party certification audit experience.
• Experience with technical review, audit report review or certification decision-making within an accredited Certification Body.
• Experience with UKAS or equivalent accreditation assessments.
• Technical, engineering or rail safety-critical background.
• Existing authorisation as a Technical Reviewer, Audit Report Reviewer or Certification Decision Maker would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality third-party certification audits across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with potential rail/safety-critical sector focus.
• Lead audits and provide robust certification decisions in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Support technical reviews and ensure audit reports meet accreditation standards.

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, qualifications and authorised competence.

The Role & About You

My client is in the market for an experienced third-party Lead Auditor with a strong track record of leading management system certification audits.

As a Senior Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality third-party certification audits across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with the opportunity to work across rail and other safety-critical sectors.

As the Lead Auditor you will ideally have:

• A recognised Lead Auditor qualification and demonstrable third-party certification audit experience.


• Experience of technical review, audit report review or certification decision-making within an accredited Certification Body - or the experience required to achieve authorisation.


• Experience with UKAS or equivalent accreditation assessments.


• A technical, engineering or equivalent background, ideally within rail or another safety-critical environment


• Existing authorisation as a Technical Reviewer, Audit Report Reviewer or Certification Decision Maker would be highly advantageous.
