We are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join our well‑established and highly respected Employment Rights team based in Birmingham. If you’re an experienced solicitor, barrister, or Legal Executive looking to take on challenging and rewarding work, we are waiting to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a variety of large and complex employment rights cases, using your judgment and expertise to make daily decisions that significantly impact the cases you handle. You will also undertake advocacy in the Employment Tribunal (ET) at the case management stage. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll provide support to other team members while also offering supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues.
We’re looking for qualified professionals with a solid understanding of Employment Law and a proven ability to manage cases from start to finish. Your experience should include a strong grasp of the Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) litigation process. In addition, we value clear and concise communicators who excel in leadership, thrive in a supportive team environment, and are passionate about the work we do. We actively encourage our lawyers to be strong advocates for our cause, building and nurturing relationships with trade union clients and officials both regionally and nationally.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a range of generous benefits, including a competitive contributory pension scheme with up to 11% employer contributions, a GBP 4,500 car allowance, 25 days annual leave plus additional time off over Christmas, permanent health insurance, a healthcare cash plan, life assurance, and much more.
