A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced legal professional to provide advice on corporate and governance matters. The role involves managing code of conduct complaints, advising on local government issues, and attending Council Committees. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in local government law and governance, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. We are seeking an experienced legal professional to provide advice and support on a range of corporate and governance matters. You will work on strategic projects, handle code of conduct complaints, advise on LGO issues, and support information governance as required. You will also review and comment on ODRs, Cabinet, Council, and Committee reports, as well as attend Council Committees and working groups as required, contributing to effective decision-making and governance.
