Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must be educated to a degree level and hold a relevant qualification in social work as well as being registered with Social Work England.

Responsibilities

• Lead the allegations, management and safeguarding processes on behalf of the Local Authority and wider partnership.
• Provide high quality professional advice to the Council and its partners.
• Analyse and report data, undertake a Quality Assurance role and communicate decisions and outcomes with key partners.
• Ensure processes lead to the best outcomes in protecting children and adults with care and support needs.
• Collaborate with the regional LADO network across the West Midlands.
