Qualifications

• Experience working to Containment Level 2 standards in a biological research setting.
• Strong knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and GM regulations.
• Experience with radioisotopes or X-ray equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take a key advisory role for laboratory researchers and lead safety policy implementation.
• Act as Departmental Safety Officer and Lead Biological Agent Peer Reviewer.
• Deliver safety inductions and training, co-chair Safety Committee.
