Job summary

Apple Service Engineering (ASE)'s Compute team is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Kubernetes and strong collaboration skills. You will lead a team of SREs who design, build, and operate mission-critical Kubernetes infrastructure serving thousands of developers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Kubernetes and SRE with hands-on production software experience.
• Experience in public/private cloud environments and multi-tenant infrastructure.
• Strong ownership, transparency, and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of 6-8 senior Site Reliability Engineers.
• Set technical direction and roadmap for owned platforms/services.
• Own SLOs/SLIs and error budgets, drive accountability during incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve on-call experience.
