Job summary

Grid Dynamics is partnering with JUXT on a Tier 1 investment bank project to build a next-generation FX Risk Platform. You will join a team delivering FX Options end-of-day Official Valuation capabilities using Java, Kotlin and Apache Flink.

You will own the development lifecycle from requirements to production, collaborating with the bank's engineers, trading desks and partner systems across time zones, and helping translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin.
• Strong core Java experience.
• Experience building and operating production-grade applications.

Responsibilities

• Build FX Options end-of-day Official Valuation capabilities on the next-generation FX Risk Platform.
• Develop production-grade Java and Kotlin stream-processing pipelines using Apache Flink.
• Translate business and trading requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Work closely with the Asia FX trading desk and partner systems to understand and refine requirements.
• Design and implement processing workflows where correctness and data integrity are critical.
• Build comprehensive testing and reconciliation processes around valuation outputs.
• Carefully handle late, missing or corrected data within processing pipelines.
• Own changes through the complete lifecycle: Requirements, Design, Development, Review, Testing, Release, Production.
