Job description

The Senior Key Account Manager will promote Jazz’s full neurology product portfolio (in‑person and virtually) to maximise sales potential across a defined NHS territory. They are accountable for achieving sales and related performance targets and will work closely with cross‑functional teams to execute a multi‑channel approach that delivers value to healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Use multi‑channel selling models to promote product clinical attributes and value proposition, influencing prescribing behaviours at a consistently high level.
  • Engage clinical customers in peer‑to‑peer advocacy through a range of platforms (educational events, symposia, virtual programmes, in‑person meetings).
  • Develop and influence advocacy networks across the territory to support expertise and product conviction.
  • Orchestrate ongoing professional engagement using tailored content such as approved e‑mails and webinars.
  • Prepare and execute strong territory business and key account plans, fully utilising agreed processes and procedures while maintaining compliance with local ABPI/IPHA standards.
  • Monitor changes and trends in the NHS structure, identifying pathways to optimise formulary access and place in pathway.
  • Lead projects such as Key Account Excellence, sales director initiatives, and team training, demonstrating leadership behaviours and encouraging adoption of new initiatives.
  • Share insights and best practices across the team, contributing to overall effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, reporting customer and business data using agreed performance measures.
  • Demonstrate ethical, responsible, and professional behaviour in line with Jazz Pharmaceuticals values, ABPI code of practice and company processes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Life Sciences graduate (or equivalent).
  • ABPI examination pass.
  • Fully valid driving licence.
  • Excellent selling skills with experience in a speciality pharmaceutical sales role, preferably in orphan disease areas.
  • Advanced account management skills and a proven track record of securing appointments in person and via remote technology.
  • Experience in working within cross‑functional teams and demonstrable project‑planning skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for face‑to‑face, group, and virtual engagements.
  • Proficient IT skills (MS Office) and experience with CRM tools.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in leveraging multi‑channel technology.
  • Knowledge of NHS structures, funding flows, and pathways.
  • Background in supporting joint projects that deliver benefits to patients and stakeholders.
