Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior K-12 education professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in large school district and public education contexts.

You will design scenarios, draft reference outputs, and write rubrics that capture how senior educators and district leaders think, with a focus on instructional complexity and stakeholder diversity. This role requires hands-on K-12 leadership and curriculum experience in large systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years teaching or leading instruction in K-12 settings.
• Experience with IEP/504 processes and district initiatives.
• Knowledge of standards-based grading and data-driven instruction.
• Experience drafting rubrics and teacher training content.

Responsibilities

• Design K-12 education scenarios and reference outputs.
• Draft rubrics distinguishing educator judgment from recall.
• Create lesson plans and administrator communications.
• Collaborate with multi-stakeholder teams on curriculum tasks.
