Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and modern front-end technologies.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to go beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms in sync with systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring constraints are met by code.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden problems in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and explores emerging technologies.
• Supports team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
