Job summary

Methods is seeking a Java / Python Developer to help manage, build, develop and design Java applications with strong exposure to Spring Boot, microservices and system design.

You will work as part of an Agile squad to develop Market Risk applications, collaborate with stakeholders, and shape the tooling landscape to meet regulatory obligations. The role demands 6+ years of hands-on experience and excellent communication in a global team.

Qualifications

• 6+ hands-on experience with Java, Python, Spring, RDBMS.
• Strong object oriented design and development skills, data-structures and algorithms, and design patterns.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Strong experience with relational databases logical modelling.
• Ability to write scripts in Shell/Perl/Python.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing Market Risk applications.
• Be part of an Agile squad, applying DevOps practices.
• Work with business partners / stakeholders.
• Shape the tooling and technology landscape of Risk Management to meet regulatory obligations.
