Q1 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot back-end services and front-end components using Angular/ReactJS. You will design architectures, ensure data-driven quality, and optimize systems for performance.

The role emphasizes API integration, SQL-based data handling, multithreading, and cloud exposure (AWS/GCP/Azure) with a strong focus on SDLC and modern tooling. On-site work in Glasgow is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs and integration between systems.
• Strong SQL skills and database tuning capabilities.
• Multithreading and concurrency in Java; ORM like Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with SDLC and developer tooling.
• Public cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing tools like JUnit and CI/CD pipelines.
