Position Overview

We have three senior Front‑Office Java developer roles for a leading investment bank in London, focusing on pricing and risk platforms.

Role Title and Employer

Senior Java Developer / Java Software Engineer – Investment Bank.

Location and Working Arrangement

London City (Liverpool Street station) with a 50 % home‑working hybrid arrangement.

Compensation

£90,000 – £130,000 per year plus bonus, permanent contracts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front‑office risk, trading, quants and dev‑ops teams to build a state‑of‑the‑art front‑to‑back pricing and risk solution.
• Hands‑on Java 21 development with a focus on maintainability, reliability and continuous improvement of the production environment.
• Define and implement non‑functional requirements to enhance system performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Excellent Java development skills (Java 21).
• Investment‑banking experience, preferably front‑office.
• Experience in risk or pricing is beneficial but not essential.
