Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven Java expertise with a focus on low-latency systems.
• Hands-on Aeron experience including cluster/archive.
• Strong JVM performance tuning and memory management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize ultra-low-latency Java apps.
• Build high-performance messaging with Aeron.
• Profile, benchmark and tune to reduce latency and GC overhead.
• Develop highly concurrent, multithreaded systems with predictable performance.
• Optimize JVM behavior and memory management for throughput.
• Collaborate with architects to deliver scalable, high-throughput solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements.
• Contribute to design decisions and code quality standards.
• Demonstrate hands-on Aeron, including cluster/archive usage.
• Design high-throughput, low-latency systems with robust architectures.
• Understand CPU cache, memory barriers and hardware-aware tuning.
