Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Doncaster is seeking an Investigator Specialist to join the CAMS In-use Regulation Scheme (IURS). The role involves leading investigations, incident triage, and case management, coordinating with the DVSA and other agencies to support regulatory outcomes.

You will help shape the IURS operational model, produce high-quality investigation reports, and ensure secure data flows for analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering regulatory or investigative services in safety-critical environments.
• Leadership of complex investigations and casework with evidence for regulatory or legal processes.
• Ability to use data and analytics to identify trends and improve regulatory outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the In-Use Regulation scheme for automated vehicles.
• Deliver the operational model and SOPs for the IURS, including incident triage, case management, escalations and closure.
• Produce and manage investigations, liaise with DVSA Digital partners to ensure secure data flows and analytics.
