SSE PLC is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join our IT Procurement & Commercial team, with responsibility for strategic supplier relationships and governance across major IT and telecom partners. The role focuses on maximizing value, ensuring service delivery, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic technology environment.

• Proven experience managing strategic IT and telecommunications suppliers.
• Strong commercial and contract management expertise.
• Knowledge of IT services, telecommunications, ERP systems, and large-scale technology programmes.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with IT leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead contract and supplier governance activities ensuring oversight and compliance.
• Drive supplier performance, monitor KPIs, and maximise commercial outcomes.
• Provide commercial and contractual expertise across IT programmes and projects.
• Identify, assess and mitigate supplier risks to ensure resilience of services.
