GLF Schools is seeking a Senior Field IT Technician to deliver first and second-line IT support across Banstead and Epsom area schools. You will work with the Central IT Team and Regional IT Partners, visiting sites regularly and occasionally travelling to other GLF locations as required.

The role requires a driving licence and own vehicle for school visits. A proactive, independent problem-solver will thrive in this varied field-based position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar IT role.
• Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration and deployment.

The role involves delivering first and second-line support to a diverse range of users, troubleshooting issues across a variety of systems, and ensuring schools receive a high-quality IT service.This is a field-based position, requiring regular scheduled visits to schools within your allocated region, alongside ad hoc and emergency support as needed. You may also be required to occasionally travel to other GLF Schools locations outside the region to support wider operational needs.This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.**Please note: The successful candidate will need to travel between schools; therefore, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
