At WEP Clinical, our business is expanding, and the career opportunities are endless. Our team members help patients every single day by providing early access to medicine. We encourage our team to bring thought‑provoking ideas to the table. Join us and see the impact you can make!

Role Objectives:

The WEP Clinical Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for designing, establishing, and operating a fit‑for‑purpose Project Management Office (PMO), while also directly leading and delivering key internal IT and digital transformation initiatives. This is a highly hands‑on role requiring strong execution capability, disciplined delivery, and effective stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business priorities.

The role will introduce and embed consistent project governance, standards, and reporting across the IT portfolio, while actively managing high‑impact initiatives such as customer‑facing digital platforms, enterprise system implementations, collaboration and productivity tooling enhancements, and telephony modernization. The Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to drive successful outcomes, manage risk, and support continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:
  • Establish and embed a pragmatic PMO framework, including project lifecycle, governance, standards, templates, controls, and reporting appropriate to the organisation’s size and maturity.
  • Define and maintain consistent project methodologies, documentation, and tools to ensure transparency and effective delivery across the IT portfolio.
  • Provide portfolio‑level visibility, including prioritisation, dependency management, risk tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Lead and deliver multiple concurrent IT initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as hands‑on Project Manager for high‑impact initiatives, including customer digital platforms, Office 365 rationalisation and enhancement, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk and issue registers, and communication plans.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to minimise delivery impacts.
  • Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and third‑party vendors to align requirements, priorities, and expectations.
  • Facilitate project governance forums, including steering committees, status reporting, and decision‑making processes.
  • Support change management and ensure effective transition and handover to operations, while driving continuous improvement through lessons learned.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering IT projects in a hands‑on Project Manager or PMO role
  • Proven experience establishing, operating, or maturing a PMO within a growing or transforming organisation
  • Professional project management certification required or strongly preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or equivalent PMO/portfolio certification)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise IT initiatives, including ERP implementations (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), digital platforms, collaboration tools, and infrastructure or telephony solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) with the ability to apply them pragmatically
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both delivery and executive levels
  • Strong problem‑solving capability, with a proven ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
