Job summary

Solina, based in Biggleswade, United Kingdom, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and expand its global infrastructure. You will deliver advanced 3rd level support, design and administer infrastructure services, and maintain thorough documentation to drive reliability and security.

The role requires Azure expertise, Windows/VMware experience, and strong communication in English. You will collaborate with partners and contribute to integrating acquired sites, with frequent travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent by experience.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a system administrator or engineer.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and VMware.
Knowledge of Azure is essential.
Fortinet firewalling, routing and switching.
PRTG and ServiceNow experience is a plus.
Proactive and independent; excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

Deliver advanced (3rd level) technical support to resolve complex system issues.
Design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Solina's global infrastructure services.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the environment with change control and risk management.
Collaborate with IT Project teams to deliver broader IT services and ensure adherence to standards.
Support infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal and external partners.
Integrate new sites within the group as part of M&A to align with Solina standards.
