Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks an IT Developer to build and integrate custom WWT applications and third-party systems. The role involves design, development, and deployment of software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to strategic planning and execution.

The candidate will lead technical challenges, conduct code reviews, and ensure quality through comprehensive testing in an Agile environment. A strong collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Test-first mindset with experience in test automation, unit, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Analytical and problem solving: decompose complex technical requirements, impact analysis and solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote WWT Core Values and best practices.
• Design, develop, and test software applications and features to requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and ownership of complex challenges.
• Conduct code reviews focusing on quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
• Perform comprehensive testing including unit, integration, functional, regression, and UAT.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with offshore and onsite teams.
• Provide production issue guidance and monitor trends for proactive improvements.
• Create and maintain technical/configuration documentation.
• Engage in Agile practices: planning, standups, demos, retrospectives.
• Continuously learn WWT’s processes to evolve solutions.
