The Team

You’ll join a team of seven, responsible for facilitating Industrial Relations across nine jurisdictions and around 35 representative bodies. The team identifies risks and opportunities, advises on strategy, develops win‑win solutions for our people and shareholders, and ensures agreements are reached on time and in a sustainable fashion, all while delivering our People strategy.

The Role

As Senior Industrial Relations Analyst, you’ll develop enhanced reporting and analytical capability, drawing on business and industry data to enable informed decision making. You’ll:

  • Enhance the quality of information used to inform decisions, considering business goals, the competitive landscape, and the objectives of our social partners.
  • Take analysis, reporting and insight capability to a new standard, enabling fast and informed decision making.
  • Play a key role in analysis and recommendations for fleet basing and allocation.
  • Produce monthly reporting packs and Steer Co packs, and develop insight to advise negotiations.
  • Coordinate annual conferences, maintain a library of agreements, and use generative AI to improve accessibility of agreements.
  • Identify and track cost, productivity, contract structures and change initiatives, integrating the IR agenda into the Ops People Strategy.
  • Source and use data from multiple sources to create reports and dashboards.
  • Facilitate annual large‑scale meetings and provide dynamic support to IR Business Partners.

Requirements of the Role

  • Experience with Gen AI, in depth knowledge of Excel, AIMs, and working with industrial agreements is desirable.
  • Decisive, analytical, and organised, with excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, working well to deadlines under pressure.

Practicalities

This full‑time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
