Job summary

develop is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join a high-growth technology business focused on mobile engineering and security. The role blends iOS development with application security, authentication and device protection, with UK-wide responsibilities and occasional London-site visits.

You will design security controls, harden iOS apps, review security architectures and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong Swift programming skills and experience with App Security.
• Experience with cryptography, secure communications and authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across iOS applications and SDKs.
• Develop protections against reverse engineering, runtime manipulation, code injection, instrumentation and application tampering.
• Work on application hardening, integrity validation and runtime protection.
• Research emerging mobile attack techniques and investigate potential bypasses.
• Carry out security architecture and code reviews.
• Develop security tooling, frameworks and libraries for mobile products.
• Work closely with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to security research, technical proof-of-concepts and longer-term product security initiatives.
