Job summary

Nevis is hiring an iOS Engineer to own the iPhone/iPad experience, applying Swift and SwiftUI to deliver fast, secure financial-tech interfaces. You will partner with design, backend, and AI teams to craft thoughtful mobile experiences for advisors, even with limited connectivity.

You will shape architecture, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality releases, while maintaining a strong emphasis on craft and usability.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building and shipping iOS apps in Swift.
• Extensive experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Strong focus on app architecture, state management and concurrency.
• Understanding of performance, memory and networking for mobile apps.
• Experience shipping from scratch, including provisioning and phased rollout.
• Commitment to craft, clean code and polished UI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the Nevis iOS app from architecture through App Store release.
• Collaborate with designers to deliver exceptional features on every device.
• Translate AI outputs and financial data into intuitive interfaces.
• Create responsive AI experiences that feel instant on limited signal.
• Shape mobile APIs with backend engineers to fit mobile needs.
• Obsess over performance, accessibility, offline behavior and detail.
• Uphold security and privacy for client data.
• Own end-to-end release quality, testing and observability.
• Prototype quickly and iterate based on feedback.
