G2 Legal Limited seeks an experienced Internal Compliance and Risk Solicitor in Lincoln. This senior role works with the COLP and leadership to safeguard the firm's reputation and drive risk and compliance strategy.

The role focuses on practical legal advice on complaints, professional negligence matters and regulatory risk, not traditional fee‑earning work; you will influence governance and client care processes across the firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with strong background in professional negligence, litigation or disputes.
• Experience handling complaints, claims or regulatory matters.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder communication.
• Interest in risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on professional negligence risks, claims and exposure.
• Manage complex client complaints from investigation through to resolution.
• Assess liability, risk and potential outcomes.
• Liaise with insurers, brokers and external counsel.
• Support claims strategy and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to governance, compliance and client care processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational practices and reduce risk.
