Job summary

QBE Europe in London is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Group Internal Audit team. You will lead a range of internal audits across the International - European Operations division and Group, delivering risk‑based reviews with professionalism and integrity.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with hybrid working and occasional travel across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk-based internal audits in insurance or financial services.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits across International - European Operations division and Group, including complex reviews.
• Plan and test audits to high standards within timelines.
• Report audit results and drive remediation with management actions.
• Support data analytics, integrated audits and agile approaches; coach juniors.
• Build relationships with management and stakeholders to monitor the control environment.
• Potential travel to UK, Europe and other international offices.
