Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Internal Auditor to join AuditOne on a fixed-term contract (5 months). The role supports internal audit services across clients and requires delivering audits from planning through to final report issuance.

You will work with AuditOne under CNTW, with flexible working and home/remote options, and guidance from the Senior Internal Audit Manager. DBS payment may apply.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education to A level standard or equivalent.
• Part Qualified CCAB / CMIIA or equivalent.
• Degree. Qualified CCAB / CMIIA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will play a key role within a team providing internal audit services to a portfolio of clients.
• They will apply a high level of audit expertise, working independently across a range of clients and complex audit assignments.
• Deliver audits and reviews within agreed timescales and budgets, from planning through to final report issuance.
• Evaluate controls, processes and procedures to assess risk management effectiveness and suggest improvements.
