Job summary

Liberty Blume in London seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) team, with base in Kings Cross or Leeds. You will execute internal audits, assess reliability of information, and test controls across the Liberty Blume business.

A professionally qualified Accountant from a Big 4 background is preferred, with strong communication, mentoring, and risk focus. This is a challenging, growth-oriented role offering a competitive package, 25 days leave, pension

Qualifications

• You will be a professionally qualified Accountant off to a flying start in your career as a risk, assurance or audit professional, ideally having gained this experience within a Big 4 or similar environment.
• You will be comfortable owning the planning and fieldwork components of audits with guidance when needed.
• Good understanding of risk and controls and an ability to translate this into appropriate audit programs.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills, you will be well practised working with senior partners across multiple regions.
• You must be a confident teammate who will play a key role in delivering professional, credible and value-added internal audit services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of scheduled internal audits to independently assess reliability and integrity of information.
• Adequacy of, and compliance with, policies, plans, standards, laws and regulations with impact on operations.
• Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources and attainment of objectives.
• Contribute to internal control design and process improvements.
