Job summary

FOLIO, a London design studio, seeks a Senior Interior Designer with strong Revit skills to transform concepts into buildable interiors for traditional commercial workplaces. You will work with the design lead, own projects, develop layouts, material schemes and technical drawing packages, and coordinate with consultants and contractors.

You will also prepare client pitches, manage deadlines and budgets, attend site visits, and mentor junior designers in a sociable, close-knit team with flexible

Qualifications

• 5–7 years interior design experience in traditional commercial/architecture practice
• Experience in workplace interiors is essential
• Strong Revit proficiency including producing and coordinating detailed technical packages
• Experience leading projects, guiding junior designers and managing team workloads
• Confident presenting to clients and preparing pitch documents
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes and suppliers, building regulations and sustainable design principles
• Comfortable coordinating with consultants and contractors and resolving issues on site
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS
• Must have valid RTW in the UK

Lead cutting-edge, contemporary commericla and workplace interiors from concept to completion within a creative, sociable London design studio

Position

Senior Interior Designer with strong Revit skills and proven experience in traditional commercial workplace design. You will bring fresh ideas and a strong architectural eye to projects, developing concepts into detailed, buildable interiors and maintaining the design intent through to completion.

Working closely with the design lead, you will take ownership of projects, prepare client pitches and presentations, and develop layouts, material schemes, specifications and technical drawing packages. You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, manage deadlines and budgets, and attend site to review progress and resolve design queries. Supporting junior designers and organising the team’s workload will also form part of your role.

Candidate

• Proven experience in traditional commercial/archicture paractice. Around 5 to 7 years’ interior design experience, with a portfolio showcasing contemporary and bespoke concepts and successfully delivered projects.
• Experience in workplace interiors is essential
• Strong Revit proficiency is essential, including producing and coordinating detailed technical packages
• A strong eye for space, proportion, materials and architectural detailingExperience leading projects, guiding junior designers and managing team workloads
• Confident presenting to clients, preparing pitch documents and explaining design decisions
• Good knowledge of furniture, finishes and suppliers, alongside building regulations and sustainable design principles.
• Comfortable coordinating with consultants and contractors and resolving issues on site.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS
• A personable, collaborative approach, with the energy and humour to enjoy a close-knit, sociable team
• Must have valid RTW in the UK
