Job summary

A renowned interior design studio based in the North East of England is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with strong technical skills and experience in luxury residential and commercial projects. You will manage multiple projects, create FF&E plans, and lead presentations while mentoring junior designers. Job description

Our client are an renowned interior design studio who has won multiple awards for their stunning projects in the UK; Currently in search for a well-rounded Senior Interior Designer, who has experience in luxury residential and commercial projects, to join their team in Newcastle.

You will ideally be a confident, passionate designer with strong technical skills, able to manage multiple projects, mostly high-end residential, with occasional boutique and hospitality work.

In this role, you ll create FF&E plans, detailed drawings (layouts, elevations, joinery) and lead smaller projects independently when required. As a senior designer, you ll be involved in client presentations, guiding junior designers, and maintaining key relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll also inspire the team and ensure high-quality design packages.

Senior Interior Designer Attributes
  • A degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or relevant qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in high-end interior design.
  • Proven track record of designing and leading large scale projects.
  • Knowledge of high end residential FF&E and strong technical design.
  • Experience leading UK and international projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
  • An interest in contributing to new business development and being client-facing.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.

The starting salary will pay between £35,000-£45,00 plus 25 days annual leave, bonus, WFH, flexible hours, professional fees paid if required, on going progression and support, pension, and a decent place to work!
