Luxury high end hospitality studio in Central London are looking for A Senior Interior Designer. Lots of new projects have hit the office and there is an urgent need for a creative senior designer. A really nice open plan centrally located London studio are looking for someone with high level hospitality experience within hotel design, restaurant design or leisure projects. This role will be very much client facing with a strong emphasis on working with a team producing amazing cutting edge designs.You'll be working in the UK and internationally, working with the wider office you'll have a small team to manage, run all the stages of design, client handling, FF&E and project management.Some responsibilities for this role include the following:Act as the creative senior designer on hospitality projects across the studio overseeing output with the creative director from concept to completionLeading and inspiring the junior members of the team, problem-solving and mentoringEnsuring design output meets the brief and comes to life brilliantly and within budgetOverseeing the creation of exciting concepts, developed design schemes, detailed technical design packs, specifications and tender documentation for sharing with clients and contractors (inputting your own design ideas)Doing hands-on concept and AutoCAD and hand-sketching, art directing CGIs, sourcing, procurement and putting together schemes and all other creative assets and project documentation relating to projectsLeading site meetings and internal studio meetings with clients, suppliers and contractors, also mentoring others to do so.Managing project budgets, estimates and reconciliationsTraining other team members in creativity, project leadership and client handlingThe ideal candidate will have the following skills/attributes:A really exciting design portfolio across hospitality design both highly creative and technically strongExperience working in a client-facing capacity at a senior level in established, stylish design agenciesStrong understanding of project set-up. Evidence of successful experience running large-scale, stylish projects, specifically Hospitality & F&BStrong construction and onsite knowledge and experienceInventive, stylish sourcing and specifying of products, lighting, furniture and decorative finishes (FF&E)Proven experience working with fabricators and specialist suppliers and manufacturers to design and procure bespoke products and finishesExcellent organisation skills and proven ability working well under pressureAbility to prioritise and deliver projects within agreed budgets and timescalesExcellent technical skills with a beady eye for detailProficiency in AutoCAD (essential), same with InDesign, Photoshop, basic SketchUp and Microsoft Office/ExcelGreat communication skills.
