Job summary

Leidos in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Integration Test Engineer to support a large-scale systems integration programme. The role involves planning, designing and executing testing across applications, interfaces and infrastructure, ensuring quality and traceability across the project lifecycle.

You will work with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver robust test coverage, investigate defects, and contribute to automated regression packs while embracing a proactive learning

Qualifications

• Experience in software, systems, integration, or test engineering.
• Knowledge of functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to create and execute test cases from requirements or designs.
• Experience across multiple systems, applications or third-party integrations.
• Investigating issues and supporting defect resolution.
• Ability to analyse data and interpret test results.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create and review test plans, cases, and reports.
• Design and execute integration and regression testing activities.
• Collaborate with technical experts and stakeholders to ensure coverage.
• Record and report test results, defects, risks and issues.
• Investigate defects and support root cause analysis and resolution.
• Analyse test evidence and large datasets to demonstrate compliance.
• Validate data flows and interfaces between systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and ways of working.
• Support development and maintenance of automated regression test packs.
