Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Integration Engineer within the Saab Seaeye Business Unit to lead the Integration Team and oversee the integration, testing and commissioning of Saab Seaeye products in line with contractual and business requirements. You will provide day‑to‑day technical leadership, mentor team members and drive continuous improvement across vehicle platforms.

Based at Saab Seaeye in the UK, you will liaise with Engineering, Product Management and Customer Support to transfer product

Qualifications

HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
Extensive experience integrating complex electro‑mechanical systems.
Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across electrical, hydraulic and communication systems.
Excellent communication, mentoring and coaching skills.
Continuous improvement mindset and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Integrate, configure and test complete vehicle systems per customer specs and company documentation.
Diagnose and rectify faults across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical domains; raise improvement opportunities via ECP.
Lead and mentor the Integration Engineers, Technicians and Apprentices; provide technical planning and issue resolution.
Develop work instructions and training to build capability within the Integration team; support factory acceptance testing and customer demos.
